Gaming in ICT

Gaming in ICT

Gaming is popular and beneficial to the children, and they engage with the process and put work in to complete the task as it is something that they want to do. Creating games takes a lot of work; the game from the Tim Rylands’ video clip that a school create was very good! You could direct your way around the school and complete various games, which had the rules easily visible. As the children are creating their own games they have ownership over it and are more likely to do the best job that they can. In a school the children could make a game for others in their class, or different class within the school, or even a different school.  I like the 2DIY programme for creating games; it is very straight forward to use and for the children to create their own game.
